RIM sponsors post-10th education for rural girls coming from extremely poor families. This ensures that girls are not left behind because of a lack of family resources and allowed to pursue higher education. The post-matric scholarship initiative identifies girls who are keen on pursuing vocational courses or higher studies but are at risk of dropping out due to financial constraints. This is followed by home visits. Preference is given to orphans, single parents, and children living in critical situations. The scholarship amount meets part of the estimated expenditure. Home visits are done to follow up on the progress of students.
In the academic years 2018-19 and 2019-20, RIM provided scholarship to 50 girls to continue their post-matric education with the support of the Sheshadri Padma Memorial Charitable Trust
